FWEA’s premier annual event, the Florida Water Festival is a unique learning opportunity for children and adults alike.  This Florida Water Festival will take place within the Environment Village of the Healthy Community Festival.  The Environment Village will feature fun and informative activities, enlightening displays explained by water experts, and interactive demonstrations.  

The free to attend event is designed to educate the public at large of the importance of protecting Florida’s precious water resources as part of one the three pillars of sustainability: economy, environment and society.

See what it is like to have to carry water from a distance as many in the world still must do by participating in the Walk for Water.  You will learn facts about water around the world as you walk.

Water quality professionals from public utilities and private sector companies are present to answer questions and share their passion about protecting our state’s most valuable resource – WATER.

Activities from 2016 Include:

• Walk for Water 10 am - 2 pm
• Live Music 11 am - 1 pm by the Hot Tamales
• Dance performances at noon
• Poster Contest
• Face Painting
• Water System Demonstrations
• Raffle Prizes for Walk for Water participants
• Food Trucks on site (Daisy Mays & P + G Mobile Table)
• Quench Buggy available to fill up your sports bottles for free
• Many Other Fun and Educational Activities!
