Committee Vision and Goals

Our vision is to explore emerging technologies and innovative approaches within the water
community, supporting the advancement of cutting-edge solutions to address Florida’s evolving
water challenges. By fostering a network of experts, stakeholders, and innovators, we aim to
create a dynamic forum for communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing focused on
the adoption of new technologies and innovative ideas.

More specifically, this committee aims to:

Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience related to current innovations.
Connect relevant groups involved or interested in water and related technological advancements.
Organize an annual workshop to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration.
Support the communication of technology readiness, including demonstration and field testing, for emerging or innovative technologies and approaches.
Promote dialogue with regulators to advance the implementation of technological innovation.
Strengthen collaboration between utilities, vendors, consultants and local universities.
