The FWEA First Coast Chapter serves members located in Northern and Northeast Florida, including the following cities and counties: Jacksonville (Duval County), Nassau County, St. Augustine (St. Johns County), Palm Coast (Flagler County), Clay County, Palatka (Putnam County), Lake City (Columbia County) and Gainesville (Alachua County).
The chapter seeks to provide professional opportunities to interact and network with others, as well as providing opportunities for professional development through technical educational seminars, lunches
The First Coast Chapter is also very active with local universities, including the University of North Florida and the University of Florida. Our chapter has supported the recent inauguaration of a student chapter at UNF, while a thriving student chapter already exists at UF.
The First Coast Chapter is also very fortunate to share a close relationship with Region II of FSAWWA. Most of our lunch, networking, and charity events are co-sponsored and coordinated between each group.
