The Safety Awards are for utilities who maintain exemplary safety programs. Facilities from all over the state of Florida compete for the opportunity to receive a plaque recognizing the excellent safety programs that are in place all over our state.

Introducing Safety Committee Chair Jackie Hall!

Jackie Hall is a safety professional with over 20 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health. She holds a Master's in Safety Management from West Virginia University and is certified in OSHA, MSHA, Hazwoper, and Incident Investigation. Jackie has led safety programs in diverse industries, including managing 30,000 hours of training for 1,300 miners at a large coal operation in Western Pennsylvania. Currently, as Director of Safety and Risk Management at Toho Water Authority in Florida, she focuses on improving workplace safety and managing risks. Jackie has been recognized by NIOSH and has extensive experience in emergency response and compliance. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cycling, gardening, and spending time with her son. She’s also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Fantasy Football.
